Peer status information can be inspected using the following commands:

laywire peer list

Displays general information about peers assigned to the node, including:

  • Peer name

  • Status

  • Transmission speeds

  • Interfaces associated with the peer

laywire peer ping <node-id>

Tests connectivity to a peer.

laywire peer-link list

Provides more detailed information about peer links on the node:

  • Associated peer

  • Connection mode

  • Status

  • Packet loss & latency

  • Transmission speeds

  • Addressing

laywire peer-listener list

Provides more detailed information about peer listeners on the node:

  • Interface name, ID, and state

  • Peer listener port and state

  • Number of invalid packets received by the listener since start
