Email server settings

The management server sends email to users for a number of reasons, such as notifying of new accounts and aggregator failure and recovery. These messages are sent through either an SMTP server installed on the management server itself, or via an SMTP server defined in the Email administration page.

To test email delivery, click the image0 button. This will send a message to your own user account’s email address.

The following options are available:

Email default from

Default email address used in sent emails

Email host

The SMTP server to use for sending mail

Email port

Port to use for the SMTP server set in email host

Email username

Username to use for the SMTP server set in email host. If empty, no authentication will be used

Email password

Password to use for the SMTP server set in email host. Only used if email username is set

TLS

Specifies whether a TLS (secure) connection is used when talking to the SMTP server
