Resetting a bonder to the default configuration
================================================

New bonders can be set up with a default configuration as described
in `Node installation
methods <../provisioning-nodes/node-installation-methods/index.html>`__. The node can then
be configured for its specific bond at a later time via a `simple web
service <../provisioning-nodes/configuring-default-bonder-via-web-service.html>`__.

Bonders that have been given a node key, assigning them to a specific
bond, can be reset to the default configuration just as if they had been
set up that way initially. To reset a bonder to the default
configuration, simply run:

::

    bonding-deconfigure

This will remove the cached configuration file, node SSL key and
certificate, and restart bonding. It will immediately be ready to accept
a `new key via the web
service <../provisioning-nodes/configuring-default-bonder-via-web-service.html>`__.
