Resetting a node to the default configuration

Nodes can be set up with a default configuration as described in the initial configuration documentation. The node can then be assigned to a node record at a later time via web service or USB key.

Nodes that have already been assigned to a node record can be reset to a default configuration in the event that they need to be re-purposed. To reset a node, run the following from the node’s Linux terminal:

laywire-setup --factory --yes-i-really-mean-it

This will remove the cached configuration, SSL keys and certificates, and restart SD-WAN.
