Replify WAN optimization

Replify is a WAN optimizer which can improve the performance of certain applications through caching, compression and various other optimizations.

Enabling Replify

To enable Replify in your environment, please contact sales.

Replify setup

Once Replify has been enabled for your environment, the Replify appliance needs to be set up in the core network and some integrations need configuring.

Configuration of Replify is managed on either the Replify appliance that is deployed, or on the Replify software running on the bond directly.

Managing Replify on bonds

Once Replify setup has been completed, enable Replify WAN optimization on a bond by enabling “Replify WAN optimization” located in the configuration pane on the bond edit page and then clicking the save button.

If you haven’t contacted sales yet, this option will be disabled.

Replify proof of concept

If you specify a bond as a “Replify proof of concept”, you will not be billed for Replify WAN optimization for one month. This option can be set after the bond is created and will automatically expire after one month. You can have up to three Replify proof of concept bonds at one time.

To set a bond as a Replify proof of concept, first enable “Replify WAN optimization” for the bond (see above). Then select the bond Actions button and click “Start Replify POC” on the bond details page.

The Replify proof of concept expiry information is shown next to the Replify WAN optimization option in the configuration pane on the bond details page.

Ending Replify proof of concept

By default, the Replify proof of concept ends automatically one month after the proof of concept was started. To end the Replify proof of concept before it expires, select the bond Actions button and click “End Replify POC” on the bond details page.
