==========================

There are four methods for provisioning nodes.

When installing Bonded Internet on a new device (or overwriting the
operating system on an existing device), you may need to change the
device's boot order. Every device model has its own way of configuring
the boot order, but methods to change the order for some of our
recommended devices are listed at `Updating hardware BIOS serial and
boot
settings <../../updating-hardware-bios-serial-and-boot-settings.html>`__.

Regardless of the provisioning method chosen, the Bonded Internet
installer will ask for a node key, a unique value used by the node to
identify itself to the management server as a particular bonder or
aggregator. Refer to `Initial Bonding
configuration <../../provisioning-nodes/initial-bonding-configuration.html>`__ for more
information.
